Goals can be achieved

I would like to share a personal incident from my life that holds significant meaning for me. When I reflect back on my childhood, there was always a strong desire within me to become a software engineer. This aspiration eventually led me to join Infosys, but prior to that, I had the opportunity to work at two other companies.

During my fifth-grade years, I enrolled in a computer literacy course alongside my friend Ganesh. It was the era of booming computers in the 1990s, and I was naturally captivated by their functionality and workings. I would spend countless hours studying and playing computer games, and surprisingly, the concepts and commands I learned during that time still reside in my memory. To this day, I can recall that knowledge effortlessly whenever the need arises without having to revisit its instructions.

I wanted to share this story because when we consciously set our minds to pursue something, our thoughts begin to shape the necessary conditions to manifest our desires. This is a powerful realization that should not be underestimated.

In each person's life, there are certain incidents or series of events that alter the trajectory of their growth and existence. It is important for us to remember those pivotal moments.

In 2013, right after completing my college education, I landed an internship at a small IT company. They agreed to provide a stipend of 4000 rupees. At the beginning of my internship, I had a somewhat stubborn mindset. Since they were paying me 4000 rupees, I believed I should only work for that specific amount and nothing more. Regrettably, this limited mindset restricted my opportunities for learning. I should have been more open-minded about expanding my knowledge and skills.

During my daily commute to work, which involved changing two city buses, I would pass by the Hinjewadi IT Park. As I gazed at the towering buildings within the park, I often found myself daydreaming about the possibility of working there someday.

Several months later, I received a job offer from a renowned French international IT company. It was a realization that goals can indeed transform into reality when we dedicate ourselves to the pursuit of those objectives.

importance of having aspirations, a positive mindset, and dedication in shaping one's career and achieving personal goals. It encourages reflection on transformative experiences and the importance of seizing opportunities for growth and learning.

Thank you for allowing me to share this story.

Currently in India, it appears to be challenging

I have written about my experience participating in a state-level yoga competition in 2016. The content remains the same; I'm just editing it to present it better.   Everybody  is saying  why  can't  India  wins many  medals in Olympics.  A country of 1.4 billion people won just two medals in the 2016 Rio Olympics. When the Olympics were going on, everyone was talking about sports, facilities, sports infrastructure, etc. Billions of rupees were declared as prizes for medal winners and coaches. God knows if it has reached the players or not.    We should recognise and appreciate winners while not ignoring the rest of the athletes in the country. Personally, I think we should also think of the rest of the millions who have dreamed of it but couldn't go further than district or state level. I feel we are far behind on the basic needs of sport infrastructure, which is the first need for the development of any sport culture. We don't have ded...

You think, you become

What you think you will become I would like to go back to an incident in my life. In the 5th grade, with my friend Ganesh, I joined a computer literacy course. In nineties the computers were in boom and still it is. Naturally, as a young child, I got fascinated by computers and their way of working. I spent hours studying and an additional several hours playing computer games. But what I learned during that time still remains in my memory. Those concepts and commands are in my permanent memory.  Even today, when I want to use that knowledge, I don't need to revisit its instructions. I wanted to tell you this story because once you think consciously about any particular thing, your mind starts to create the necessary conditions to make this happen to you, and this is not a small thing. In everyone's life, there is...
